We love Campbell River!

The December 2017 BC Business magazine Best Cities for Work in BC edition showcased Campbell River in an article titled “Campbell River attracts young talent”. You can read the full article here.

The article features young professionals who, for a variety of reasons, have chosen to make Campbell River their home. Perhaps it’s the city’s unparalleled access to the ocean. Maybe it’s the fact that Campbell River combines small town charm with urban amenities.

Or, it might be because Campbell River’s economic development supports small businesses through its Modern Entrepreneur Platform, providing professional development opportunities that generate conversations and provide a forum for exchange of ideas about issues affecting businesses today.

With initiatives like the Modern Entrepreneur Platform and CRadvantage, the city-owned broadband network, Campbell River is supporting growth and sustainability through a diverse economy. Here’s a snapshot of where people work. Do any of these categories surprise you?
